Our Story / Nuestra Historia
One day our founder was changing her closet for the season, and a shoebox fell in front of her. The shoes were were red, new, and didn’t fit her. She stored them in her closet all year and never wore them.
Un dia nuestra fundadora estaba cambiando su closet de estación, y una caja de zapatos se cayo al frente de ella. Los zapatos eran rojos, nuevos, y no le servian. Ella los guardó en su closet todo el ano y nunca se lo había puesto.
So she thought that since she couldn’t put them on, why not give them to a woman who could fit them? She continued to look through her closet and found more clothes she had never worn and thus the Closet was born.
Pues, ella penso que como ella no podia ponserselos, ¿por qué no dárselo a una mujer que si les sirvieran? Ella continuó a buscar en su closet y encontró más ropas que nunca se había puesto y así nació el Closet.
What We Do / Que Hacemos
We supply a women’s need for clothing, shoes, accessories, and anything else a women uses or needs. We help heal and grow their self esteem. We empower them to continue their studies, work, and to be able to open their own businesses.
Les suplimos a mujeres la necesidad de ropas, zapatos, y accesorios, y cualquier cosa que ellas usen o necesiten. Les ayudamos a sanar y a crecer su auto-estima. Las empoderar a continuar sus estudios, trabajo, y que puedan abrir sus propio negocios.
Through our events, we help women overcome their current situations so they can reach their goals.
Através de nuestros eventos, les ayudamos a mujeres sobrepasar sus situaciones presente para que puedan lograr sus metas.
We are called Closet D Reina or Queen’s Closet because our belief that all women are queens and should be treated as such. Therefore our donations come from one queen’s closet to another queen.
Nos llamamos Closet D Reina porque creemos que toda mujer es una reina y debe de ser tratada así. Pues, nuestra donaciones salen del closet una reina para otra reina.
